How Cause of Insomnia Occurs in Women

1. Stress is the most evident cause of insomnia, i.e. you’re over concern about the school, work or any event, which keeps the mind, activated whole night. Such thoughts keep the mind occupied, and then make it very difficult to sleep. Father stressful events like the death of someone close to you, any horror thought, or visions also contribute as a cause of insomnia.

2. Anxiety is also a cause for the cause of insomnia, because it disturbs the normal sleep in humans.

3. Depression is the reason for many disorders and also is the cause of insomnia. The people suffering from depressions show a swing between two extremes, like the very sleepy day and night, or no sleep at all. So the trouble in sleeping is also caused by depression, and combined with insomnia, it develops a bad mental health.

4. Medications always have some side effects, and one of them is the cause of insomnia. The prescriptions by the doctors for the cure of depression often contribute towards lack of sleep. Some others are the heat or the blood pressure medications, some allergy medicines, and some pain killers, may also cause the lack of sleep in the body and restlessness. The weight loss products and the use of caffeine in the medicine also cause of insomnia.

5. Caffeine, nicotine and the alcohol, all are from the same family i.e. triggering the nerves. And when the nerves are triggered, the sleep often results in insomnia. The alcohol may make you fall in sleep, but that won’t be asleep. That is a painful snooze, because you are not comfortable, and the body is in trouble.

6. Medical conditions of the body must also be monitored to know that what’s wrong with the body. Chronic pain, some difficulties in breathing, frequent urination during night time can because of insomnia. People suffering from the cancer, lung diseases, heart failure may feel the lack of sleep.

7. Changes in your environment may contribute as cause of insomnia, because when you change your place of sleep, you are seriously not comfortable at first.

Causes of insomnia

8. Poor sleep habits, are found in so many people, and these are, working at night, studying at night, poor sleep hygiene, eating in bed, watching TV when you are in bed. All can be an easy cause of insomnia.

9. Learned insomnia, appeared among the people who are worried excessively, and not able to sleep properly at all. Either it is then, of the environment they belong which keeps them thinking, and occupied that they cannot sleep at night.

10. Eating late night and eating too much is something which is in your hand to avoid the sleeping sickness. When you eat too much, you are actually overloading the stomach, and assigning the night duty to it. Now the stomach will keep digesting the food in it, to form sugar, and the body and the mind both will work. Hence this ends up as a cause of insomnia.

11. Changes in sleep patterns, in advanced age are commonly seen. As you advance in age, you start sleeping more uncomfortably, and a very minute’s noise, or any other change in the environment takes your sleep from your eyes. There is also so change in the routine life, like you wake up earlier than usual, and this makes the body more uncomfortable and you may develop insomnia.

12. Changes in activity, also contributes in the insomnia, because now you are contributing less in social-physical activates with the advancement in age.

13. Changes in health, as you advance in age, like the backbone pain, the knee problems, the issues with walking and some other diseases. Such disorders can contribute as the cause of insomnia. As such people may not help themselves to sleep in pain. Some women who are experiencing the menopause, hot flashes and the night sweats make them uncomfortable at night and they cannot sleep.

14. Over dependence on medicines, is mostly seen among the people who advance in age. It is actually part of their routine that they have to take those medicines in order to live a healthy life. But this medicine may become the cause of insomnia, and they will suffer the uncomfortable sleep.
