If a person behave or act differently than people usually call him insane or mentally sick. Some other people think that they are haunted. If a normal person like you and me come across the patient of schizophrenia then he will definitely consider him insane but they are not insane, they are just ill.

There are positive as well as negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Positive symptoms refer to the behavior and attitude that is present in the patient but not present in a normal person whereas negative symptoms refer to behaviors or attitudes that are present in a normal person but are deficient in patient of this disease. Lack Of Emotions
A normal person show his emotions through his face, his eyes and his body language but patients of schizophrenia have no or very limited emotions. Their face and eyes are emotionless. This is also called as effective flattening. These people are unable to maintain any eye contact with the person they are talking and they are neither able to observe body language of other person nor they use their own body language efficiently.
Anhedonia
This is a state in which the patient stops getting enjoyed on things and activities which were once a big source of job for them. For instance, a person who was fond of cricket stops shoeing any interest in it.
Limited Conversation
Negative symptoms of Schizophrenia also include limited conversation or reduced speech. People suffering from schizophrenia either stop talking at all or talk very little.
Lack Of Energetic
A person once considered highly energetic become dull due to schizophrenia. The patients of this disease lose all their energy. Their physical activities get limited and they spend most of their time sitting or sleeping.
Become Isolated
One of the most common symptoms of negative symptoms of Schizophrenia is isolation from the society. These people no matter how social in the past lose interest in social gatherings. They do not go out with friends. In fact, they spend most of their time alone or with their closed family members.
